Bodog Poker Games - Omaha

Take advantage of Bodog Life's Omaha guide to learn how to play and win at Omaha poker games.
Bodog’s Omaha poker selection includes: Fixed Limit, Pot Limit, and No Limit. If Fixed Limit poker stakes appear as $2/$4 it means the bets/raises in the first two betting rounds will be exactly the small stake amount $2, and the big stake amount $4 in the final two betting rounds. Pot Limit bets/raises are equal to or less than the pot amount, and No Limit bets/raises can be all-ins. Minimum bets/raises in pot and no limit poker are equal to the big blind amount.
‘Blinds’ are required bets placed by the two players to the left of the dealer. The small blind is posted by the player immediately to the left of the dealer and the big blind is posted by the player to the left of the small blind. In a $2/$4 fixed limit game, the big blind is equal to the small stake $2 and the small blind is half the small stake (rounded down) or $1. In a $2/$4 pot or no limit game the small blind is $2, and the big blind is $4.

Every player is assigned in turn (clockwise) as the dealer, which is represented by the dealer button.

The first betting round begins after players receive four face down cards (hole cards), starting with the player to the left of the big blind. Players must call, raise or fold, until reaching the big blind, who can also check.

The flop is dealt (three community cards) and all subsequent betting begins with the player to the dealer’s left.
A fourth community card is dealt (the ‘turn’) and the next betting round begins, followed by the fifth community card (the ‘river’) and the final betting round.

If two or more players remain after the final round it’s a showdown and the last player to bet or raise must reveal his/her cards. All poker hands are compared, with the exception of players who choose to muck their hand, and the best five card poker hand using at least two hole cards and three of the community cards wins the pot.
You can also play Omaha Hi/Lo on Bodog bovada. This version’s' rules are the same except that the lowest and highest hands split the pot.
